Empowering every student to use 21st Century Skills to develop Welding competencies required to meet tomorrow’s challenges in Welding
Students will:
-Develop skill in various aspects of the welding industry including oxy-fuel cutting, mig welding, tig welding and stick welding.
-Learn how to read blueprints and symbols in order to decipher what welds need to be made.
-Operate various other power tools used in the welding industry.
-Become proficient in shop safety practices.
-Compete in Skills USA competitions
Potential Careers
Career examples include Industrial Designer, Materials engineer, metallurgical engineer, cutting machine operator, welding inspector, fabricator.
